To deactivate your account on the Egeez eLicense ePortal as a licensee/vendor, please follow these steps:
Ensure all orders have been shipped and marked as delivered or cancelled. Egeez will refund customers for any new, cancelled orders. You can’t deactivate if there are any active orders shipped and not yet marked as delivered by customer or eGeez. For cancelled orders, you must wait till the customer is fully refunded, appearing in Order tab. Contact support@egeez.com if you believe there is an error in the order.
Verify that all pending earnings have been paid out to you under Payout. You may have to wait till the next billing cycle.
Once your account is clear, you can click the Deactivate button. Please provide a reason for your deactivation and confirm your request.
You will have a 30-day grace period to reactivate your account without losing any data if you choose to resume selling. This policy is designed to offer flexibility and convenience to licensees, allowing them to reconsider their decision or resolve any underlying issues that led to the deactivation.
If you need assistance or wish to explore potential solutions, please contact your Onboarding Happiness Manager.

Impact of Licensee Account Deactivation on the Licensing Industry
If a licensee deactivates their account in the licensing industry, several opportunities might be missed, impacting fans, licensees, and licensors:
Reduced Product Availability: Fans may face lower availability of licensed products. This limits their ability to purchase merchandise featuring their favorite characters or franchises, diminishing their enjoyment and connection with the brand.
Lost Revenue Opportunities for Licensees: Licensees could miss out on generating income from selling licensed merchandise. This impacts their financial performance and growth prospects within the industry.
Diminished Brand Exposure for Licensors: When licensees deactivate their accounts, licensors lose valuable channels through which their intellectual property is marketed and sold. This reduction in brand visibility can lead to decreased overall interest and engagement with the brand from the public.
These missed opportunities can have a cascading effect on the ecosystem of fans, licensees, and licensors, potentially leading to a decreased vibrancy in the licensing market.
Oh, Geez! That’s a sad day!
